Introduction

Welcome to the Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital’s Department of Radiology web site. The Department of Radiology performs over 30,000 procedures annually and is responsible for providing quality and responsive Radiology service support to over 35,000 beneficiaries in the Fort Polk community and over 60,000 rotational Soldier from the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) located at Fort Polk, Louisiana. We hope that you will find it an educational and informative experience enabling you to better understand the intricacies of the Radiology services at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Radiology is to provide, on a 24 hour basis, routine and emergency Radiological evaluations at the request of the individuals authorized by the hospital to make such request, while at the same time providing protection to both patients and technologist. The premise is to provide the most information with the least radiation.
