Beneficiaries:
Care is provided to patients authorized care in a military facility ranging in age from infancy to geriatrics. TRICARE access to care standards are followed. This clinic averages 430 patient visits monthly.

What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy is a health and rehabilitation profession that helps people to be as functional and independent as possible. Traditionally, Occupational Therapy is the use of goal-directed, purposeful activity to aid in the development of adaptive skills and performance capacities by individuals of all ages who have physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, and/or psychological impairments.

Maximize independence
Prevent disability
Promote health and wellness

Services Provided
Evaluation, diagnosis and rehabilitation treatment for a variety of upper extremity disorders from the hand to the elbow to include:

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome
  • Arm/hand pain or paresthesia of unknown origin
  • Tendonitis, tenosynovitis, DeQuervain's syndrome, intersection syndrome, trigger finger, lateral and medial epicondylitis
  • Arthritis (rheumatoid and osteo), carpal boss
  • Sprains, strains, contusions, lacerations, abrasions, burns, suspected fractures
  • Paronychias, felons
  • Ganglion cysts
  • Joint contractures, Dupuytren's disease
  • Reflex sympathetic dystrophy
  • Postoperative upper extremity therapy.
  • Limited rehabilitation services for patients status post head injuries, strokes, hip and knee replacements.
